i left for lunch heading into town and got behind this truck towing a industrial tlb ( think ford 3xx/4xx size.
truck was an import short wheel base.. trailer looked to have been a home-made converted tandem boat trailer due to the pointy-ness of the front of it.
it was sagging in the middle as viewed from the rear.. tires were cambered out almost at a 45 to the road!!! yes.. 1/2 tire tread and sidewall was making contact, with 1/2 tire tread not touching .. or maybee kinda touching as it bounced!
watching the license plate, you could tell the tounge was heavy as the trailer was tipping front to rear, as well as fish tailing a bit. driver kept slowing down to try to controll it.
NO lamps.. well.. it had all sorts of lamps.. but I never saw one come on!!
most of the wood ( 2x4!!!! ) had popped up from the deck and was bowing up 6" at the rear in the center parts not under rubber, attesting to the front to rear warpage the trailer was probably experiencing. hoe bucket was not on the trailer as it looked to be only 16' trailer so hoe was kind of right at the rear edge and hanging... when i turned at a stop i could get a side view.. front of the truck was aiming up , rear looked bottomed, front loader was curled all the way down and resting on tounge.. I bet if he made a sharp turn the loader bucket would hit the tail gate!!!
scarry.. scarry.. scarry.
oh.. best part... at the stop i turned off at.. even though the guy was only going about 30mph.. when he came to 'stop' at the 4 way, the tow vehicle was fully in the intersection, and the front of the trailer over the stop bar!!! everyone at the 4-way motioned for the guy to go ahead and go!!
coming up to the stop, I snapped a cellphone pic.. but I don't think it came out. I was leaving the guy a whole lot of clearance between me and him

hope the moron doesn't kill himself or someone else....
