Looks great. What is that packer used for?

busts up the clods and leaves a smoother finish.

Doh! :duh: I should have figured that out. I've been looking for a rotary hoe to do that same thing.

Wow, I would love to have a plow set up like the one in the picture. Does the rotation set up work properly? All the ones I have seen are direct hydraulic spinners, yours looks like a combo hydraulic and chain drive!
PS- Have you ever seen what a real tree looks like? :)

I'm changing the cylinder before I try it. Don't want any possible contamination in my hydraulics. The one I've already rigged works perfectly.

What's a tree?

Can you post pictures of your plowing once you finish? Always nice to see a freshly plowed field.

Not sure when My next plowing will be, Like super55 mentioned, these plows are getting hard to find these days and that's because not much plowing is done around here anymore. The "real'" farmers have most of their land in drip irrigation so you can't plow much. When they do plow, they use huge tractors and switch plows. I can't remember the last time I saw a rollover being used here. Since I am not a real farmer and only plow what hobby farmers like me want me to plow, my plowing time is pretty rare. But...as I've mentioned int he past, the video in my signature is the plow I rebuilt and is just like the one I just scored. You can be assured that I will post pictures if I get some plowing.

Well I've hit a snag.
This "new" plow is identical to my Oliver except for three things.
#1 It is red. My Oliver is green.
#2 The rollover mechanism is slightly different as far as the way the plow is indexed when it rolls.
#3 and this is the biggie...
The landslides are different and so far, after about a week of searching, I have been unable to locate factory made landslides.
Every other part, the moldboards, the shins, the shares, are identical to the Oliver and are easy to get but not the Landslides.
I can build them, just don't want to but I guess I will do what I have to do.
I was told that this plow is a White. All parts lists that I can find show Oliver/White parts but they won't fit this plow.
But...
I kinda like doing this searching for parts thing. It's fun. All this plow needs is shares and landslides and it is good to go. It is actually in a lot better shape than the Oliver was when I got it.
