I just wanted to show the casters that will soon be attached to the box blade. Picked them up at the recycle yard for $5 each. They still have the mold ribs on the tires. Seemed like a pretty good price to me. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Now if I can just get some scrape square stock for the same price, guage wheels for less than $20 would sure be nice.

I was think of doing something like that to my brush mower, kind of like a finish mower. I was thinking of taking 2 caster and setting them on the left and right side of the front of the mower. I just have to think of a way to have them "out" so the wheels can turn 360. This way I can just drop the mower and it can "float" over the grass at a preset setting.

That would sure be nice - is that customized?

Yes it was a custom deal just like you folks are discussing. I found it while trying to find the kind of superstructure that is weak. Those black bars twist. It is for sale here in WA but looks like a tiny hog.

Yes something like that... Now if and when I get around to doing something I have something to go by. Thanks for the pic.
