When I depress the clutch pedal going forwards and come to a halt on my Iseki TX1510 there is a **** of a screeching noise which appears to come from the rear left hand (as you sit on the tractor) wheel
Anyone any ideas please?

does the noise stop when tractor comes to a stop? what happens if you kick it into
neutral while still moving and then not depressing the clutch and coming to a stop?

Okay

1. Only makes ther noise in forward gears

2. Only seems to make the noise in High Ratio although this could be the speed possibly

3. When I put it into neutral and come to a halt not depressing the clutch it doesn't make the noise

4. Seems to reduce/stop when the tractor has been in use a while/warmed up

FYI the clutch plate release bearing etc were replaced about 12 months ago

Okay in reply to my own post it transpires that when I hit the clutch pedal this also slightly activates the brake pedal hence the screeching noise mentioned originally so I need to find out why the brake is moving in tandem with the clutch pedal and then I should be sorted.......

The clutch pedal pivots on the shaft that goes to the left brake pedal.
This shaft crosses from the right side of tractor where the brake pedals
are to the left side to connect to the left brake. the clutch pedal
pivots on this shaft also. If it has not been lubed in a while then
maybe clutch pedal is rusted to this shaft and applying the left
brake. Here a few pictures of this set up. I spelled pedal
wrong in the captions on the pictures. Duh!

Thank you so much for your reply and the pictures......grease gun out I think!!! I note that if I hold the brake pedals towards me with my right foot when depressing the clutch I don't get any noise at all so you've got to be right!!
