Click on the search function beside the main index. Search for rock screen under all posts. I really should learn how to give the link but for now, this is faster.
I just built one myself. I used 2x6 to build a 5x7 box. I used hinges at the corner so I could break it down. I put 4x4 hardware cloth over it and lifted it up to 45deg. Works great! Not pretty though.
TIM,
I went back through my posts and found it.I posted last august in the KUBOTA OWNER SECTION,a thread called BUILDING DIRT SCREEN BX 23.I have all my details there.I wish i was better on this computer ,and knew how to show it.To answer your question ,i tryed it at 2 inch spacing, but it didnt screen it fine enough for my liking,i ended up at 1 3/8 apart.

All you need to do is strech a piece of wire mesh over a 2X4 frame and prop it up with legs. The size of the mesh will determin how fine the sift will be. The larger the screen the more vertical suports you use.
