SCV\'s for T n T
I recently installed a Kelly 1000 FEL on my JD750. It uses a 2 spool SCV to control the bucket. It came with a Cross SCV which ties into the Power Beyond in the hydraulic block under the seat. It works fine.
I am now considering adding T n T to the rear. Instead of installing another 3 spool valve separately which could get complicated as far as hooking it into the Power Beyond in conjunction with the existing FEL SCV, I am thinking of just replacing the 2 spool valve with a Prince 5 spool valve, with the 3 additional spools used to control T n T and maybe angle on a rear blade.
Are there any pros and cons to just installing a 5 spool valve instead of having separate 2 spool (FEL) and 3 spool (T n T)?
Isn't this easier than doing all of that extra Power Beyond plumbling?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
