seal or gasket on new JD

I just bought a JD 3005 front loader about month ago and notice part of a seal or gasket gone, not sure if was missing when I bought it anyway right under the tractor near the clutch under a black knob. Here is a picture can anyone tell me what this is and I am trying to see if covered by the place I bought it or will they make me pay we will see.

Is that where the steering ram is hooked on at? If so, it is where u grease the rod end. The boot is split and needs to be replaced.

A better pic would help. Is that a zerk grease fitting in the center?
Am thinking it is just a boot too.

Is it 2 wd or 4 wd?

If needing more info, how about a pic from further away to help pinpoint this part?

okay this is what the JD guy told me. What do you all think. Sorry I was not more specific but had no clue. This tractor stuff all new to me.

HEY, THATS JUST A BUSHING FOR THE STEERING CYLINDER. SOMETHING HAD TO HIT IT, AND SPLIT IT. BUT THAT IS NOT A BIG DEAL. ITS JUST THE OUTER PART. KEEP AN EYE ON IT, BUT YOU SHOULD BE OKAY, BECAUSE THE INSIDE PIECE IS STILL THERE AND HAS NO WAY OF COMING OUT.
