Hi,
Working on restoring a Sears 8/36 Lawn Tractor. I believe it's from the 1970's. 8hp Tecumseh engine.
So far we've replaced the points, condenser, spark plug and coil. We still have no spark at the plug end. I haven't yet replaced all the wiring, but the ignition key turns the starter, and the coil can only be accessed by pulling off the flywheel.
Anyone have any ideas? I'm about to have a guy who rebuilds old lawn tractors come by, but I'd love to figure this out with your help!
Thanks in advance,
Kent
