Anyone know anything about the Craftsman 22.0 hp 50 in. Deck Riding Mower. It's $3000. I've had a craftsman for 6 years and I've beat the cr*p out of it and it's still going strong. But when looking at other similar zero turn tractors, they're more like $6000. Can't seem to find any user reviews of this product.
Here's the link:

Just by looking at the machine and its specs I think it would be fine for like and acre or little more.

It doesn't have an anti-scalp wheel in the middle of the deck, the frame doesn't appear to be very heavily built. Please don't confuse this with a commercial ZTR as its not even in the same league.

This machine, like all ZTR's prices at $3000 or under were meant for very light, personnal use only...ask the manufacture they will tell you the same thing.

If you have more than an acre then I would consider something like the Cub Z-Force. The Z-Force is only $1000 more but is twice the machine.

Makers_mark, My vote is the same as gamble77 on the cub over the sears, The sears looks to sit to high in the saddle , a couple of dips in the yard will throw you off of that thing with-out a steering wheeeel /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif to hang on to.
