Seat adjustment on DK35 and foot throttle

Hi everyone ,
I am a new to all this ,but have a question ? I tried out a new DK35 but found the seat was to close to the steering wheel for me . The foot throttle was very awkward too .Any suggestions so I can make this work better ? I'm 6'4" and have a old back injury that makes it a little difficult .I have heard that the new models coming out soon have move leg room . I am ready to buy ,but this is hanging me up .Very nice site !!! I am impressed!,

I'm 6'2" and have the seat all the way back,my brother also has a DK35 and he is 6'4" neither one of us have noticed anything awkward with the foot throttle or the seat being to close.I'm sure that you new the seat can be ajusted as your dealer should have pointed it out.It is truely an awsome machine and I can't imagine that being a problem to steer you away.

I'm 6' 4" tall and do not have a problem with the seat adjusting far enough from the steering wheel to be comfortable. The tilt steering gives more adjustment, also. Using the foot throttle has not been awkward in the 300 +hours I have on my DK35.

Thanks a lot ! I completely forgot about reading it in the sales brochure about it having a tilt wheel! I bet that is why it felt so different to my old kubota L2650 . It did not have that ,so it did not even enter my mind to look for it . I'll head back to the dealer tomrrow and give it another look .The salemen spoke very broken english and I think he knew very little about the machine because he never mention tilt steering .It also sounds like it is better to get a Woods FEL on it because of the break out /roll back problems of the Kioti FEL that I have read about on the discussion forum. Any thoughts or suggestions on buying a DK35 would be deeply appreciated .We are very limited here on the west coast for dealers and the tractor prices here seem much higher than those back in the midwest or east .

Yes I have nothing bad to say about my Woods 1009 FEL.I have not had any problems with roll back or anything.I talked to two people who had DK35's,one who had the Woods 1009 FEL and one who had the Kioti 1450 FEL the one who had the 1450 wished he had gotten the Woods,they both new each other.But then again my brother has the 1450 on his DK35 and has been pleased with his so far,the dealer just had to tweak it a little at the 50 hour service and performed much better after.

I seen a couple of tractors we sold the loader relief valve was set lower than the tractor's Adjusted it up so the tractor relief would set off first helped a lot /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

There is a Kioti Dealer in Marysville, Highway 20 Equipment, I think he sells tractors into that area, ask for Tom.
