SEAT TIME Seat Time seat time

Missing my seat time and workshop....I am in Blacksburg, VA helping my sister take care of my mother for a while. My sister teaches at VA TECH....I got here the day before the massacre to help take care of mom, good thing I came up as it turns out. You guys enjoy some seat time for me. Looks like I will be here till the end of the semester....

I got some good seat time this afternoon and evening. I was asked if I would donate some time to till a large garden 6 acres to be exact. Another fellow and myself brought in our tractors and tillers and tilled it. I will be going back and planting the sweet corn and green beans with my planter on the back of my 755. The veggies are to go to the elderly on fixed incomes is what I was told. The land was donated by a man who had sold his horses and had all this pasture land sitting idle. It was plowed up last fall. I was asked by a co-worker if I would help. I thought it would be a good deed and I would get some seat time as well. I am not sure what organization is doing this but it is a nice thing they have put together.

And I've been wondering if my 6 tenths of an acre was two large of an area for a tiller to till a couple inches deep in preparation for planting grass seed.

should have a fair number of hrs comming up as soon as it stops raining grading out the left overs of the septic install

I got 10 minutes of the same the other day between running and installing two additional lamposts, and mowing the areas that do not have grass patches and reseeding!
