Well it was seat time the past few days. Western New York had one of our lovely Lake Effect storms. Cold air over the warm lake and we had 22 inches of wet snow on thursday the 12th. By 9pm over 350,000 people were without power and in my case it was out for 48 hours. Many people including my children don't have power yet.
Trees are almost gone in many places as they had not lost leaves yet and the branches couldn't handle the weight and snapped. Had a lot of cleanup loader work and made a lot of trips to the kids houses with the generator to keep the sump pumps operating.
All in all I'd rather have snow than tornados. hurricanes and the like. When it's over if you wait long enough nature takes it away, and I needed the firewood anyway.
