Just priced and dealer wants 2K plus installation. That seems ridiculous to me.

How about 3 additional sets for a total of 4 sets for $1475?

Its a lot of parts and even more labor. We are usually around $1500 + Ft

You can also do like mtnview if you got the know how... if something does fail in the hydraulic system because of it... your warranty wont hold but done right and mainly used right it can be done

Yeah but Kioti dealer priced another rear set for 400 so Mahindra is way too high on their stuff. Shouldn't be that much difference in the way they are set up.

I had a customer once with a Kubota Mx series and one of my systems. This guy was a pro and knew what he was doing. Burned up the pump 3 times. Kubota tried blaming it on the system the 2nd & 3rd time. Turned out that there is a flaw in the Kubota hydraulic design inside their system of that model. It won't handle full RPM flow with constant use day in and day out without burning up the pump. Something about the oil passages being small and cooking the oil.

Anyway, everything that I had provided flowed more than enough for them to end up taking responsibility.

Like was mentioned, as long as it is done properly, no issues.

You never run an open center system with valves that are to small, just a problem waiting to happen. Not if, but when is the question.

Good luck to the OP with his search and end decision.

Were you pricing it the same or with the tractor new? I can get a set put on a tractor before it leaves for half price after the fact is a whole other story... I have no use for rear hydraulics so even $400 seems high to me lol

I don't know where they are added. I just asked a Mahindra dealer and a Kioti dealer the same question and those were the prices.

A lot of the Mahindra stuff is waaaaaaayy over priced! Go to their website & look at the price of parts! I popped a mirror off & ran over it before I could get stopped. It's just a plastic shell with a glass mirror inside held together by some rubber edge trim & they want like $86 for it. I can buy a complete set of metal chrome mirrors for what they want for one!
