Securing loading ramps under trailer

My GN trailer has ramps that slide into a slot under the trailer.

At the front of the slot they have spring loaded catches (I need to get a picture) that secure the ramp, into the slot.

About a month ago, for whatever reason, one did not get secured and got lost on the road

SWMBO swears it was checked, and I am wondering, as it was never a truly positive engagement, if maybe it worked itself loose or worked itself around the catch. The other side ramp was not the factory ramp when I bought the trailer, so I suspect it got lost by the previous owner. The ramp there has several cobbled pieces to make it work.

So, what I am asking / looking for, if you have a really good ramp retention system and you are happy with the latch mechanism that locks your ramps into their stow position, would you be so kind as to shoot a picture? This would be ramps that slide up under the trailer into pockets.

Mine has a rectangular door with a hinge on the inboard side. The outboard end has a slot which goes over an eye when closed. Any kind of tractor pin goes through the eye to secure the door closed.
Here is the only pic I have available. notice the pins are on chains so I don't loose them!

Mine is pretty simple, tube sections welded above and below the ramp slot and a pin that drops down through both, right about in the center of the width of the slot. Even with this, I did have one occurance of the pin bouncing out of the lower tube so now I stretch a bungee between the two (one for each ramp). I can take pics if you are interested but it's nothing fancy at all.
