If that grass gets much higher you wont be able to call it grass. It will be a small forest. I hope you didn't find any loose objects like other tractors that got lost. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Funny you should say that, no tractor but did find a set of steel spoke wheels on axle from an old flower cart, a water fauchet (thank god it was "dead"), a 2' ledge (butt pucker!) and a "swamp" /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

How many snakes did you chop up in that field with your rotary cutter? If that grown up field was here in Kentucky, I am sure I would have chopped up some copperhead snakes and some black snakes with my rotary cutter. That is one thing that I have got to watch out for on my farm when I am out working in my fields is copperhead snakes. There are also some rattle snakes that is in the county that my farm is in, but I haven't run into any rattle snakes yet on my farm (rattle snakes here in Kentucky are just in certain places, but copperhead snakes can be about any place on farms). Hope that I never see any of those big timber rattlers in my fields.

I didn't come across one snake in all this grass which explains the hundreds of mice running for their lives! The only snakes we get out here are garder, gopher, king and rattler. Think it was too cold for any of them to come out, it had rained Thur, Fri and Sat night. Had the company of a Red tailed hawk all day, it was like an "all you can eat" buffet for him with all them mice! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I agree! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I'm glad you had your slow moving vehicle sign on in the first picture so I could find your tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
