I will admit to being just a little confused by these implements. I have always seeded the old fashioned way with an over the shoulder crank seeder. But, now I am becoming interested in something more precise and, well, a little easier.
Most of what I plant is what could be called food plot crops for the wildlife. So seeds from the smallest clovers and grasses, up to the largest beans. What I really would like to have is the seeder -- cultipacker combination found on implements like the Plotmaster or Firminator, without the cultivation parts. And without the high dollar cost.
Researching this has been a little difficult for me as here in North Texas I have been unable to find much equipment on the ground at dealers that I can go take a look at. Problem is compounded because I need something to pull behind a 38hp tractor.
What do you boys suggest?
