Hi,I’m a newb to the forum, my problem is we have a 580k case backhoe, seems like it’s lost power going into a pile,when trying to fill front bucket while trying to move forward,it lugs engine right down, changed hyd.flyer,both fuel flour,both air filters,think it’s an 1989 any help will b beyond greatly appreciated

Is it a pile of loose material, or trying to dig out of a bank, or hard packed pile..?? If it's a bank, or pile that has been there a while, try digging some material loose with the hoe, then see how it does. And when loading, shave the face of the pile when loading the bucket, not just drive into it then try and raise the bucket. Just ease into the pile, lift and curl the bucket as you ease ahead.

It’s a hard pile,think it is progressively getting worse, did stall test yesterday and got around 1500rpms in both forward and reverse,I’m going to compare those rpm’s with a friends hoe if his tach works, and thanks for your reply
