Seized up rotavator tractor attachment/rotavator drive shaft coupling

hello, sorry to display my complete ignorance on this subject, but does anyone know how to dismantle the shaft joint below. I’m currently trying to renovate a very rusty old pasquali tractor rotavator attachment which has been lieing around in a flower bed in Spain for about 18 years.

The project is going quite well and I’ve managed to free the drive shafts and gear box, but this joint is rusted solid. I’ve tried soaking it in vinegar which got most of the rust off, but it’s still solid. My basic problem is that because of the corrosion I can’t see where to go next. Any help form a kindly passing mechanical wizard would be greatly appreciated.

I have never done one with the bracket over the end before but I would start by removing the two big bolts to get it out of the way.

Then remove the snap rings on each u-joint cap.

Next lay the shaft on a wood block and use an appropriate sized socket that fits inside the yoke drive one cap down. You should see how to remove then. Just repeat till both u-joints are out. Sometimes it helps to spread the yoke a bit to help with removing but I always hold that in reserve if they will not come out.

Saying that, you may have to dremel the burr off the yoke as it appears someone ahs been beating on it with a hammer in more thsn one spot. It may also make getting the snap ring out due to the groove being flattened down against it. I think a bit of heat may be in order as well.
