Kubota B7800 HST
Hello everyone,

My dad recently passed away, and my mom is wanting to sell his tractor. So I'm trying to do some research to get an idea of a fair price to ask. We have had a few people already ask about it. I know very little about tractors, so any guidance you all can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Here is the info that I know:

2005 Kubota B7800 HST 4wd with an LA402 front loader
195 hours
2 sets of tires
SQ600 squealer
Maybe a 5' scraper that's never been used

Any price suggestions?
And what does HST stand for?

Thanks,
Roger

Very sorry to hear of your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family.

HST = Hydrostatic Transmission. Hydro trans gives the tractor infinite ground speeds (variable speed) within the min max operating speed of the tractor.

I would start by looking at Tractor House .com and see what tractors similar to yours are listed for. Typically the places on tractor house are commercial dealers and price things at retail.

Your tractor in terms of hours is practically new. What is appearance like? Has it been serviced? Where are you located? All of these things effect value.

Just estimating.... I'd say it's in the $8,000 to $11,000 range.

Good luck with your endeavor.

Check the classified section here, too. And, Craig's list for both prices and for selling. In fact, I have had good luck with Craig's list, with proper precautions for scam artists, of course. No fees, and lots of potential lookers.

I have one and don't think I would take less then $10,000.00 just for the tractor and loader.
