how do you check the adjustment on ym2500 3 pt hitch sensing rod? my lift doesn't begin to lift til lever almost full up position. doesn't seem right. seems it should begin to lift when lever is first put into up position. thx

You should have a square block on the rod with a cap screw to lock it in place. Loosening and sliding the block forward or backward directly changes the hand control position. If the block is too far out of adjustment then it's possible to over extend the rock shaft arms and pull the hydraulic plunger out of the assembly.
