Hello Folks ...... I have a MF model 39 planter and the s/n on the rivoted plate says 852 006047 The plate says "Made in Canada" . I have looked all over the net to try and find a manufacture date, and can not anything. I know that it may be a range of years made but I'm sure that the s/n has some clue in it that only a MF guru would know. So far I'm told that the 39 was made from 68-76. Anyone have any idea on the yr made based on this s/n ..... it may be that only the last 6 digits hold the answer...
