Yanmar 1610D/Kubota B2620
Just did 50 hour service on my 1610D from LMTC which was delivered back in March. A few days ago I found a stub axle seal leaking which required a new seal. Wayne shipped the new seal, new collar, and fan belt all at no charge to me. I did the labor and he even offered phone support which I took advantage of after not having a three jaw puller to get the brake drum off! We came up with another method and after working the 1610D in some hot weather it is just fine. He also offered some advice on a cooling additive since my ground is steep. This turned out to be a real plus. Wayne has been a great help to me and Yanmar ownership, this is the first time I have had a small compact 4WD tractor and some things are much different compared to an 8N Ford! In all, service after the sale has held very true from him and I feel certain it will always. I was reluctant to by "sight unseen" but thanks to you guys and TBN posts the decisions I made I think have all been positive! :)

I haven't had a lot of business dealings with Wayne/LMTC, but, like Bret, have been very favorably impressed by those that I have had. He is on my short list of suppliers.

Not only is it nice to hear about dealers doing right by their customers, it's nice hearing from the customer about how much they appreciate the service/support.

Well, I always give credit when and where credit is due. I have been involved in business (direct customer) for 25 years now and believe me no amount of education I have had in the past prepared me for the real world in this area. I do know that my dealings with Wayne has been very direct and to the point, all the way from, "it's time for us to talk business" until the parts request. A good politician he is not, due to the fact he is so direct and to the point. He never led me astray or tried to steer me in a way that was deceiving. I know he never "sugar-coats" things and that probably offends some. Bottom line was I got answers straight up. That is all I needed. I thank each of you TBN members also for very informative reading on Yanmars, you all are a great plus:)

Just a note on the six month ownership of my 1610D from LMTC. I am amazed at the work this little tractor can do. Then again with filled tires and front weights it comes in at 2200 lbs.

Wayne has been a very good dealer in respect to service, advice, and parts. He has provided me with fast warranty service supplying parts and technical advice. What he could not answer another associate did. I have had to replace one brake stub axle seal, a water pump, and had the generator rebuilt. The seals I am sure were destined to be replaced sometime or other being a 20 + year old tractor, we might as well face that, seals will go. The water pump I am sure came from dirty rice paddy water being added to the radiator. Wayne took care of all parts at no charge to me. I am well pleased at how durable this thing is and the money it has saved me. I knew at some point my hands would get dirty from a repair or two. Bottom line is I saved 6-8K buying a 1610D as compared to a new JD or Kubota equivalent. I would buy another one from Wayne and still even after the small problems, recommend LMTC due to how nice my tractor arrived and all the help and parts support following the purchase. I might add also that my parts arrived within 7 days after contacting him also. Another plus when mowing season is in!

Thank you Wayne for making my "sight unseen" purchase a very favorable one!

Bret has been a model customer to work with too. Seals do fail occasionally, but I think we have only replaced one generator and one water pump under warranty in over a year. We're happy to do it, I'm glad it was Bret (I know he understands what I mean, because he is willing to turn wrenches and smiles through it all), and it was about 5 months after delivery.....so he knows we didn't deliver something on it's last leg. In fact at the time my right hand guy, who delivered the tractor, had commented on it being one of the nicest running machines we have had in a long time. I guess it just didn't have a lot of life left in those two components.....but then, that's what warranty is for.
