Service Manual Prices?

How many of you out there bought service manuals for your tractors?

I called NH and got a price of $178 for my TC33D/w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gif!

Is this what you guys paid for yours? Are there other sources that might be cheaper?

When I bought my tractor they sold me the shop manuals for half price, I think it was $82.00 I paid.

I bought the manuals months ago. I am still waiting for one of them (I forget which one). It was marked as backorder when they did the initial shipment and I received a postcard a month later claiming they still did not have a delivery date from their supplier. Since they didn't charge me, I didn't care. I figured when they finally shipped they'd make a great Christmas gift to myself! /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

I bet it was the Parts Manual. They said they were on backorder when I called this morning. Do you remember what you paid for your service manual?

A few years back Kubota manuals for my B2100 were around 80 bucks. Even the owner asked what was I buying for that price when the parts man said the numbers. The tractor's gone, but the manuals I still have. For what it cost I should frame it. Or if anyone needs a WSM for a B2100, let me know.

I think the service manual for my 40D was around $238 and the parts manual was about $50 or so. I'd have to look at the receipt to find the exact number.

I hated to part with that much money, but after getting them it seems they are worth it.

The parts manual did take longer to get than the service manual. Seems they batch all the orders up and print them whenever they get enough.

I'm guessing here...The total order was a little over $200. I think it was around $160. It included all the manuals and a 3 ring binder.
