I have the motion match button, I have read the manual, and I have even set motion match to different speeds, but... how do I change the "other" speed? My motion match button gives me the same roll out no matter whether it is set on short or long. The instructions for setting motion match in the manual are not clear to me on this and I am only able to set one speed.
Here's what the manual says:
"Changing MotionMatch Setting
1. Press and hold the display mode switch until the display reads Release?
2. Release the display mode switch and display should read Coast?
3. Press the display mode switch once again.
4. For machines without MotionMatch switch:
a. Push the turn signal switch and return to neutral position to change to desired setting between 1 and 9. Position 5 is displayed as DEF? the factory default.
5. For machines with MotionMatch switch:
a. Push the turn signal switch and return to neutral position to change to desired setting between 5 and 9. Position 5 is displayed as LONG_D? the factory default.
b. Push the turn signal switch and return to neutral position to change to desired setting between 1 and 5. Position 5 is displayed as SHRT_D? the factory default.
6. To confirm the changes for MotionMatch setting, press display mode switch once again. "
What is really not clear to me is what decides when 5a. is done and now I'm on step 5b - it's exactly the same, push turn signal up or down and return to nuetral to move one setting. Mine seems to act more like 4a., in fact it shows "DEF" at factory default.
