When I take off the loader on my 4100 its more shakie than when its on and its really bad when I push the throttle forward but it seems to be only when its off.Is this like others too?PLOWER

Well its like the engine shakes when the loader isnt on,and the hole tractor.It just seems to shake when its off.I really dont know what it is or maybe it just cause i dont use much with it off but there is a difference.PLOWER

Can't quite figure this out. I would never say that my 4100 without loader shakes. It always runs very smooth, except during the first 30 seconds after a very cold start.

Sounds odd to me. My 4300 runs about the same w/wo loader, w/wo bh. Don't know what that could be unless it's running rough to start with and the extra weight of the loader kind of dampens it. My 4300 drives a little smother with the loader and back hoe on especially the bh(must be the extra weight). I wish I could be of more help with your shakes. Good luck with it.

What RPM does your engine run at the low side, I had a 755 that did that and found out it was ideling too slow. Just a thought.

I have a 4100 and it never shakes with or without the loader; even at low throttle settings.

I found out that it was when i first start it, is when t does it but, i put it back on and it seems alright.
what should be the normal idle speed on the 4100 mines at 10 i think.PLOWER

I found that mine was little rough on idle, after a few hours on the machine is smoothed out some, I just kick up the idle a little and it smooths right out. All engines will set up a harmonic at a certain RPM.
