Okay I guess I give up, and need some help. All my "manuals" tell me I have seperate oil for my transmission and hydraulic system. SO I went out and bought the recommended fluids. I see drain plugs and fill cap for the trans, but I see no way to refill the hydralic side. It appears to have it's own drain plug. I also thought I would fill it where the filter is, but as I look at it closer, the filter sits lower than the reservoir. At least that's how it appears, so how can I fill something at this lower point? So then maybe my fluid is shared and I fill the entire thing from the one on the transmission? Does anyone know for sure? If it is shared, what combo-oil should I use? Originally I was told 80W-90 for the trans, and AW26 for the hydraulic.

Well you could just leave a drain plug on the hydraulic side out and pour some oil in to really see if it is shared or not.

I would be surprised if the trans and hydraulics were not a shared system. I have a similar model and they are shared on mine, but more than that, I am pretty certain the gear drive Mitsubishis are all set up that way. I have several drain plugs but they both drain the same system. I think wushaw is right, if in doubt add some trans fluid and see if it comes out of both drain plugs, if it does it is a shared system...which I think you will find it is. If it is shared I think you can use any of the trans/hydraulic fluids available at dealers or farm supply stores.

Thanks for the advice. I may just do that as I'm not seeing any other way to get the hydraulic oil in there if it is NOT a shared system.

The universal fluid that I need, is it also this "303" fluid I see? Living in metro Detroit I don't have the luxury of the TSC or farm/fleet stores. I have to rely on Autozone or Walmart, places like that.

Walmart in my area carries a Rotella tractor fluid, you may look there.
