Hi, guys 'n' gals-
I have (or will soon have) hundreds of feet of trench that I will have to compact at least twice, once for each conduit.
I've been looking around for a used Wacker compactor, but they are a little pricey.
Can you get a sheepsfoot for a sub compact tractor?
Better yet, how about something you could attach to the FEL? (Or would that be impractical? It seems like you could putt along and compact pretty quickly that way.)
With a sheepsfoot, can you push yourself backwards, as with a backhoe bucket?
There has to be a reasonably cheap and effective solution here, I should think!
