Shelter Logic Portable Storage Units

Has anyone used the Shelter Logic tarp covered storage sheds? How well do they hold up? I usually store some of my equipment in a greenhouse over the winter, but this year it looks like the greenhouses will be in use and I need to get something to keep some of the equipment and supplies out of the weather. I'm in Central NY and get a reasonable amount of snow, so I need something which is reasonably sturdy.

I've got a 10 x 20. I got it at Canadian Tire for about 300 bucks. You will need a perfectly flat spot to set it up or it will fall apart. There was no way to level the spot I wanted to put it so I built a wood perimeter and leveled that. That cost me about 150 bucks. The kit has no anchors. You have to buy them seperate or invent your own like I did. Another 50 bucks. I added some bolts and pins in some unused existing holes because it otherwise wanted to fall apart very easily. It went together well and made it through the first really nasty winter we've had in a long time. It survived a howling 24 hour 60mph blizzard really well. The spring that followed a very mild wind from the North blew agianst the end panel and the elastic bungies that held it on had the plastic ball break and after that Both ends opened up like tearing the buttons off of a shirt. The neighbor heard it rip open and said it was pretty violent. Canadian Tire replaced the ends. I believe the UV that gets through the cover kills the plastic ball on the bungee and makes it brittle. The cover is quite lite and I'm surprised it's done as well as it has.

If I were to do it agian I'd go to Coverall wich is a large fabric building manufacturer here in Saskatoon and buy one of their more complete, robust and equivelently priced for the quality packages. In the end it would really be cheaper.
