Sherman hi low aux transmission

I will do fine for mowing like it is.

I was wondering about adding a pto powered rototiller.
Guess that was just daydreaming tho.

Technically yes.. you could add a sherman underdrive, or combo.. then run in underdrive 1 or 2, and run at regular pto / engine rpm. this will give you a low ground speed.. but lowers your pto output speed. You could then add the 1:1.89 accelerator and bump the pto speed back up.

Like the others pointe dout. This eats up power.. and is expensive.. and just really isn't needed. That N should mow fine in 1st gear

Yes.. it will work for the roto tiller. Useing the increaser.. that way you run with engine high rpm.. combo low gear for low groundspeed... and pto increser to boost tiller speed. this is the same concept of the howard or everet aux tranny. there were merely gear reduction sets off the counter shaft..e tc.

Sounds horribly expensive though by the time you buy a combo or underdrive, and one of those units... Might be cheaper to buy a cheap chineese tractor to rototill with ??

Mostly just dreaming.
No more bigger than we got for a garden,
we can till it with the troybuilt tiller.
Couldn't turn the tractor around in our garden.
Whole thing mite be 30x30.

My dad still wants a bottom plow and a disk harrow.
I have no idea what for.
