Re: She\'s all mine!

Lets see, I have 7-1/2 years left at "you don't want to know how much a month". I'll probably cack before it's paid off.

Part of my estate....M9000, slightly used, well cared for. RIP. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

After I pass, maybe my wife's new suitor will use the M9. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Come to think about it, I've never paid a tractor off, just keep trading up. My old 1085 paid for Massey just keeps smiling. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

And no, I still don't like the new Kubota's even though I look at them quite a bit. Actually, the more I look at the big ones, the more they look like another brand. Also orange and grey.

Re: She\'s all mine!

No way /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif Mines been paid for for about 6 years. It's nice, because it is ALL MINE /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif Aint no bank with a note on this tractor /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The new ones do have some bells and whistles that mine doesn't. But, I've added extra lights, TnT ect too.

Debt free is sooo nice. It goes against the trend here in the US, but it is nice /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Heh ... I financed my new kubota, and they wanted a "credit card" number ... funny thing is *I* don't have one!

I have a corp card I use for company travel, and my wife has a mastercard (in her name so she can have a credit history) ... that get's us by ... (try sometime to rent a car with cash ... grrrr).

I won't say I'm debt free, but my home and now tractor are my "payments" ... can't wait to have both paid off!

Re: She\'s all mine!

You're right; it's just about impossible to do some things (like rent a car) without a credit card and I travel quite a bit, so I have 'em and they're convenient, BUT --I have each one set up for automatic payment of the entire balance each month, where that is possible and as to the rest, I have a rule that I put nothing on a credit card unless sufficient cash is already on hand to pay for it in full.

Only reason I bought the Kubota on credit was that Kubota offered 2 years at 0% interest and that meant that I could get a return on the $$ that were available to pay for it.

I don't believe in debt, but I do believe in the power of "float." /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
