shibaura s700 4wd

I have a shibaura s700 4wd. I bought new wheel bearings for both axles in the front. I pulled everything off and it was no prob getting them off. Now I put the bearing on the shafts and cant get either side back on the top spline shaft will not go in for some reason the inside of the knuckle spline is moving around and I cant get the whole assembly in on either side. I need help asap.. My question is do I need to take the whole knuckle off to get it to line up? Please help.

Well I had to take it to the tractor shop and they said I got the needle bearing in a bind. Has anyone ever had this happen?

I have a Ford 1900 that is made by Shibaura that has the same set up. Unless you totally disassmble it it is a PITA to get back together. I see your has grease in it. Mine has 90w oil

I've just bought shibaura SL1543 and I've to change wheel bearings for both axles in the front, how I should disassemble it to avoid problems with needle bearing in differential?
