Does anyone know what the corresponding Ford model is for my Shibaura? I really need a service manual for the engine and/or a rebuild kit.

Just did some searching on Tractordata.com , The Ford-New Holland 1720 came with that engine: TractorData.com Ford-New Holland 1720 tractor information

EDIT: the 1710 did also: TractorData.com Ford 1710 tractor information

I think the 1710 is the one you are looking for, specs are similar.

if it's the same engine as a 1710.. CNH should be able to source parts. the engine portion of the service manual will probably apply pretty good.

i know i have used some JD manual on yanmart grey products.. and usually only find differences in fuel system, and op controls / decals, etc.
