Hey folks --
Interest in Shibaura grey market tractors seems to be declining. I have really enjoyed mine and get good value from it but have had trouble getting info and parts. The markings suggest SD2243 but I don't know the year and am not sure of the engine type - I have seen H843 indicated elsewhere on the web but I do not see any identification plates anywhere on the tractor.
My next project will be replacing the front crankshaft seal which is leaking very badly. It is easily accessible - perhaps without even removing the radiator. I have a manual for a simiar Ford (1710 I think) - but I'm not sure if that part is common. Any guidance appreciated.
