Shoe GOO to repair work boots.

Well the sole on one of my favorite work boots have separated and was wondering how Shoe GOO works. I was thinking about taking my air compressor to blow it out and fill it with Shoe GOO and putting a clamp on it for a few days.
I hope it works since my local cobbler closed his shop and don't want to wait for a trip to Houston.

It works pretty well in my experience. Give it a try.

I would agree with the mixed results statement. I have my doubt's it holding up to a work boot repair but have used it on some of the wife's shoes and boots and has worked well.

I have used it a few times, it works but is a temporary fix, the problem always returns.

That has been my experience with it also.

I use whichever PVA glue on hand at the time,Gorilla usually. Repair last's 3-6 months at which time I reglue.

I am wearing a pair of shoes right now that I repaired about 6 months ago with the heel cup totally loose, and so far it has stayed glued with the shoe goo. So far so good, but that has been the only time I have used it. Time will tell.

Seems the prep is most important - clean the area you want to glue extremely well, let dry then only glue and clamp. I have had very good results with shoe Goo
