Anyone know where I can get a shop manual for my Montana 4344HST? I am mainly interested in how to adjust the relief valve so I can bump up the pressure.

I emailed Montana and they said that you have to go through your dealer to get them. I want one for my 4340C but havent called my dealer yet about getting one. maybe one of the dealers on here can let us know the part# or even be able to get it from one of them.

If it is ANYTHING like getting a manuel for my 5740C, it will be a real job. First, they have to find that drunk Korean who tried to write it initially in English and sober him up. He was drunk when he wrote it, so you can imagine the problems from that point.
Secondly, finding that 4 year old who drew those illustrations could be a real problem too.

tell the dealer you want a "Service Manual" for a ??? and you want him to order one.
I got one for my 3040, it took a couple off weeks but I told him when I ordered it there was no hurry. A couple weeks latter I was going to give him a call and check up on it, I was driveing home from work and I noticed a bunch of greeen tractors in a lot north of town, stopped in to see what was going on. My Montana dealer was moveing to a bigger lot / building, he knew he had the manual but it was still packed up somewhere, one of the girls setting up the office dug through a couple boxes and found it for me.
It is definatly better then the operators manual that came with the tractor but but not as entertaining to read. I don't know if I would do a rebuild with it but if you change the oil, minor repairs etc its worth the $50.00 it cost.

I called my dealer and had the CD in a week. It's a hoot but better than a poke in the eye with a stick.
