I got the fever from all the TBN posters. Had an old shop that took a beating from Katrina and saw way to many new pole barn posts. I decided what the heck, I'll scrap up the money somehow. I built the new barn over the old shop which will come down soon. About $6,500 later, this is what I've got so far. I bought trusses, poles, concrete, electrical, and metal. I used 10 year old rough-cut 2x4 for lathing and everything else I had saved for just this purpose. Still need cement and lighting under the open bays. I just finished buring electrical service, water and cable. Don't want a phone. I started in May and now it's November. I finish something and then read about another idea on TBN. I now realize it may never end. Check it out.

Looks great from your pictures. When do you start the next phase? If your like the rest of us, it won't be big enough, so start planning on an "Addition".

I don't know what I dread worse, cleaning out the old shop or tearing it down but you're right, I'm already thinking about a lean-to off the back cause the roof line is higher. Thinking and resting work well together.
