Anyone else out there shocked that a Shop-vac bag costs almost $9.00 each?? Trying to find an alternative, so I thought I'd ask. Yes, I know, not really a L&G Equip question.
Look into a dust separator, keeps most of the debris out of the vacuum. I have a plastic barrel style - added 1" of concrete in bottom. If it tipped over all the trash went into vac in a second or less.
Neither here nor there but I've been wearing a mask since all this started and will continue to wear one in any public store or venue. You'll find them in the automotive section at Menards.
I've always worn a dust mask when using my shop vacs. In any of my outbuildings there is the chance of Hantavirus. Both my shop vacs have no "bags". Just dump into the open plastic drum with a K & N filter on the discharge.
