Shop wall track storage

Not a huge project here but was definitely needed! I picked up and installed a wall track storage system in the shop to get things off the ground and hung up where they are out of the way! The panel is 4x8' made of a thermoplastic material that is reinforced and snaps together. The fasteners are provided 3" panhead Robertson screws that are hidden when complete. The only change I made was to mount a 4x8' sheet of 3/4" plywood to the studs with countersunk 3-1/2" 1/4" lags. The panel system was then mounted and screwed to this providing much better fastening than only on 16" centers that the instructions called for. I lucked out got it for 40% off! Husky/Home Depot has a similar system for 4X the price; eek!

Funny you say that; this replaces pegboard that I had there previously! The peg board kept on breaking from overloading; PITA!
