Buying Advice shopping for a NEW Kioti

While kicking tires at my local kioti dealership I noticed that most of the higher priced kioti's the rops bar is pitted and rusted. If I'm paying 40k plus for a tractor I sure want my machine to be looking like it just came from the factory. If I ask the dealership to order a tractor for me I better try and get one that they don't have sitting on their lot . Should I be blunt with my dealer and tell him I'm not paying for rust?

Odd, I have not seen this on any brand of tractor including Kioti. My local Kioti dealer probably has 15 on the lot and I didn't notice the ROPS being rusty on any of them.

Is this all of them? Possible that they were shipped in during late winter / early spring when road salt got to them? My dealer had to special order what I wanted and actually told me that they would specify a van trailer (enclosed) to avoid getting salt spray on the tractor. Apparently they had that issue one time on a spring order and learned the lesson. Maybe your local dealer needs to learn too.

Anyway, this is not normal and I wouldn't be interested in buying, as new, a tractor with rust on the ROPS.

Thanks for your feed back , I also went to the new holland dealer which is in close proximity to kioti, same issue. So yes I think you're right about the salt issue.
