Short box vs 8 foot box

Biggest issue with a 5th wheel trailer and a SB truck is turning radius. You really need what is called a slider hitch. It allows you to get out of the truck, pull a lever, apply the trailer brakes, pull forward till it latches then go do your tight maneuvering. When you are done you do the opposite while in reverse.

And they are a real pain in the posterior too. Spring for the extra ~20" and enjoy. It'll ride better too.

But I wanted the 20" less for easier maneuvering.
