"short receiver" style Pat's Easy Change for a BX type tractor

I have a BX24. All the years I've had the tractor, I have never removed the backhoe. Recently I decided to look at buying some suitable 3 point attachments and add the Pat's Easy Change quick hook-ups. The very pleasant lady at Pat's told me that when I placed my order, I should specifically ask for their "short receiver" version hook-ups that are intended for the BX tractors. I don't understand what the "short receiver" means. Can someone tell me they have the "short receiver" type and if they found it helpful? How much length did this add to the lower lift arm length? Thank you!

I have Pat's quick hitch on an L3700 and while I'm very happy with them, Pat's is brain dead over several key issues. When you extend the connection point on your lower three point arms, you extend the length required for your top link.

I assume that them telling you to request "short receiver" is appropriate since you have a small, Bx, tractor. The better reply would be, "You have a Bx so you need xxxx." Come on......

Message to Pat's Easy Change:

Do some homework on the production tractors that you are selling your product for, provide specific information to purchasers making posts like Dick Calland's unnecessary and...and....offer top links of the proper increased lengths required once your bottom links are installed as part of the package.

DC: Probably you should go for the "short receiver" model but be advised, regardless of which you purchase, you will require a longer top link.
