I spoke with the owner. He seems to be a nice 80 year old guy who says it's time to
let his beloved Massey 202 go. He told me that it has been stuck in gear for a couple of years.
I didn't think to ask which gear it was stuck in, but he did say that it's in a "good" gear and
uses the machine regularly, as is.
The machine is exactly what I have been looking for, but the stuck gear does give me more than
a little concern. I am reading that stuck gears are just a way of life for the MF owner, and that
un-sticking them seems be be no big deal.
I am pretty good with tools and have complete confidence in my ability to get this machine back in good working
order once again.
Should I buy the tractor in this condition?

Thanks,
Tom
