Should I buy this Cub Cadet Model 1641?

The information I have so far is he wants $1700 for Model 1641 with 800 hours on it. It has a 48" deck, hydromatic, with a cart and a sweeper. He just spent $600 to have it serviced for next spring (but now he is moving to the city and doesn't need the lawn tractor anymore). He didn't know the horsepower. We mow about 3 acres of grass and have a hilly terrain. (This is my first message so I hope I followed the rules.)<font color="black"> </font>

were are you located i have a 1872 with 60" commercial deck runs excellant with 550 hrs on it it also has 26inch rear tires with 18" front tires which classify it as a super garden tractor
in va 20180 looking for offers. I was told should go for 2500.00 to 4000.00 but am looking for offers.

The machine you are looking at (1641) is a 16 horsepower Vanguard V-twin. It is plenty of tractor to mow 3 hilly acres.

The price seems fairly reasonable. The hours aren't that bad. I would certainly try some negotiations, though.
