Should I wait for a new 3000 series??

After much research and lurking here for months finding out sooo much good info, I'm about to pull the trigger on a 4310. Now that the new ones are soon to be here, should I wait?
I wonder how much of a price difference there is going to be, and what might the deals be from JD? This has been a long process for me and the misses, part of me wants to get it over with and part of me is lusting after that new more powerful and improved one.

When I bought my large-frame 4000-Ten, the 4000-Twenties were just around the corner - and Deere had a $900 rebate on the 'leftover' big 4000-Tens. That didn't hurt any. Chances are not only will the 3000-Twenties be slightly more expensive than the mid-sized 4000-Tens they replace, Deere will do something again to sweeten the deal on the old line.

Also - take a real good look at the available features/options on the new line to the old. Deere often seems to drop some more obscure options and introduces a few new ones when a new line comes out. Could be for your needs something that is going away is worth grabbing an old one for, or vice-versa makes it worth waiting on the 3000-Twenties. Two examples - Going from 4000 to 4000-Ten Deere dropped the creeper option on geared large frame tractors. Going from 4000-Ten to 4000-Twenty they dropped draft control on the 3-pt hitch. Most of the more popular features should carry through, but it may pay to read the fine print.

Did you find the 3000TWENTY Owners manual in the 3000TWENTY thread?

I would open up both manuals and check closely.

Either way, you will have a fine machine, but I would wait. You are very likely to get more power for barely any more with the new line....

Still seems to be Feb or March ETA... Will you get much use on one right now?

I think I would wait. The new series is quite impressive and would definitely be on my short list if I was shopping for a tractor today. Rockyridge is right, check out the new loader.
