This works so well that I just had to share it.
I often reach for the bow saw or pruners to clear dead branches overhead, while still seated on the tractor. I installed a small golf bag to carry these tools at hand, and also put in a shovel, small mattox, and the hula hoe (for eradicating jimson weed).
I normally leave my chains across the loader's hooks, but today I used the loader to dig out poison oak and didn't want the chains contaminated so I put them in the golf bag too.
I got a small (kid size?) bag to fit the available space, $1.98 from Goodwill, and used some single strands of 12 ga house wiring to lash it in place. The bottom end rests on the fender mount so there is little stress on the attachment points.
Where's GolfGar?!
