Hello from the great state of Misery....errr Missouri.... LOL
My name is Mike and Ive lived and worked on a few family farms in the past, broke horses and so now I want to get my own chunk of land one day for pleasure. currently own 2 acres residential lot smack dab in the county city limits which is rare but more restrictions than I like. I come across this site as I was researching stuff from trespassers to tractors since My JD rider is a bit tiny for this property and people thinking this is a shortcut to/from school and the stores...
Since waiting for approval to join I was reading quite a few threads and was very interesting as well as knowledgeable information and some just sheer entertainment. I look forwards to contributing as well as seeking help / info as we go.

Welcome to TBN from another Missourian;might want to check out the Missouri form, several are fairly close to you. Finding a bit of decent land for a reasonable price can be a challenge, but not impossible.

I did buy and sold an old farm house in Festus with 1/2 acres a few years back for $5000. It was a vandalized bank foreclosure that sat for 12 years. Took me 3 years to gut rehab it then sold it for $89K after putting $13K into it. Now Im looking for 5+ acres to put a cabin on and hunt/garden and maybe live there one day.
