I would go for a smaller set-up too, but
*they won't deliver less than 150 gallons here.
* Thy won't here either.

They will drop of A lot les than that if they are are all ready in the area or driving by my place .
This is commonly called topping off .
Did you ask them about this?

Here's a picture of my custom 55-gallon fuel tank mounted on the back of my service truck.

Come on guys post pictures of your set ups here.

I sure wish I had something to share besides some five gallon containers. I've been tractorin' for nearly 60 years, and it ain't gotten any better since the steel-lug wheeled tractors.

I typically buy off-road diesel 15 gallons at a time -- in three 5 gallon containers.

I'm not as strong as I was a few decades ago. So I have a two-and-a-half gallon container that I fill from the five gallon containers. The 2-1/2 gallon container helps fill the tractor -- I can still lift 2-1/2 gallons to above shoulder height.

I've tried siphons, hand pumps, crank pumps, drill-operated pumps, and 12-volt pumps. From my experience, none are anywhere near worthwhile.:(

I guess this is an opportunity for an entrepreneur.:D

I got tired of struggling with the five gallon cans. The straw that broke the camels back was when I grabbed a can I thought was gas for the stucco mixer and gave it to the crew. In just a little while they called me to tell me the engine had let go in the mixer, it was smoking and running bad. Well you know the rest of the story.(Diesel)
Now I can roll my fuel to the tractor, Lift and fill. Pretty easy job now.
Terry

Any details on that yellow container? Brand, size, price, anything else. Inquiring minds want to know...
TIA

Looks like a fuel caddy.
Tractor supply and Northern tool sells them.
Pretty pricey though.

I built this for about the same money and it has more features and functionality .

This is a stationary dual 30 gallon and 55 gallon drum arrangement .
It would be easy to adapt it to a smaller portable duel 15 gallon & 30 gallon drum arrangement.

I wish it was a Fuel Caddy, I think I remember they hold about 28 gallons.
Its just a standard Red Duramax caddy with a 14 gallon capacity. I bought a can of yellow plastic spray paint to help identify as diesel.

I like it, but in cold weather the supply hose sucks. I will change it out to something more pliable in cold weather. Terry
