Shredding leaves with a BXM32/42

I'm thinking about getting either a BXM32 or 42 and was wondering how well they work on leaves. After cutting some limbs down and raking up the mess left behind I want to shred the leaves for either mulch or compost. My main concern is how often does the shredder get clogged?

I have the BXM42. It has never clogged. You need to be very careful with the shredder because it RIPS the branches at an outstanding rate(read scary) out of your hands. It takes a little getting used to. The BXM42 can take everything we can feed it with my wife feeding the chipper and me feeding the shredder at the same time.

I have the BXM32 and though the shredder hasn't clogged the hopper can. The hopper is equiped with a safety gate requires you to manually open to feed the shredder, this mechansim makes it difficult to feed leaves efficiently and can be a source of frustration but there is an obvious workaround. Having a stick handy to push leaves throught the hopper should you get a little optimisitic with your feed rate is helpful as well.

No regrets, I doubt my tractor could power or perhaps not even carry the 42.

Does anyone know where I can find one used? I guess people just don't want to part with theirs...
