I have a LB1914. Yesterday, I was running back and forth packing a driveway, and the shuttle shifter control broke. It snapped the bolt, so I took it apart, drilled it out and used a slightly larger bolt, I then adjusted the stops all the way in so it couldn't be "over pushed, or pulled". The tractor has 460 hours on it, and has always been hard to shift from forward to reverse.
Its worse when hot, I usually have to let a little out on the clutch and force it in gear. The hi-low, and 4x4 shift really easy.
Is this normal ? There is still a lot of play in it, could the other linkage be worn causing this problem?
Thanks.
