I too am looking for an inexpensive sicle bar mower. I live in southwest Iowa. I have a Kubota B7500 23 hp tractor. I looked at the link at the top of this thread as well, but they didnt give us any idea of cost.

I've bought tow-behind sicklebars (7-ft cutter bar) for $150. You'll have to invest that much in new sickle sections and guards.
